As we conclude the week, it is time to review the progress that has been made in the past few days. Let us take a moment to evaluate the advancements achieved in the past few days.
Particl Desktop 🖥
We are currently rectifying a few minor issues and incorporating modifications based on the feedback we have received since the introduction of Particl Desktop 3.3.
These changes will be available in the upcoming Particl Desktop 3.3.1 release.
Marketplace Seller App 🛒
We are currently in the early stages of building the seller app and have been preparing for its development cycle. This app will be the first alternative method to interact with Particl Marketplace that the current phase will introduce, and therefore you can anticipate progress updates to be featured in our weekly updates.
We have previously alluded to the details of this project in some of our progress reports (such as this one or that one), however, a more comprehensive overview will be available next week in an upcoming blog post on Particl News.
We are working hard to enhance the seller experience and bring a large influx of items on Particl Marketplace. So keep a watch out for further exciting updates on that matter! 🚀
Particl Core 🔗
Core Codebase Maintenance 🛠️
As always, we consistently stay up-to-date with Bitcoin's latest version by regularly incorporating upstream updates into Particl Core. You can monitor these changes by visiting this link.
This week, we have implemented a couple of updates to the BasicSwap DEX back-end and have been making steady progress on the development of the market making script.
- Let users manually override some of the rules for automatically accepting bids
- Allow the RPC page to work on the production docker setup where the coin CLI binaries are not available to the swap client
- A range of bug fixes and general improvements
User Interface 🖥️
As previously reported, we are in the process of resolving a few minor, remaining issues/bugs, as well as incorporating the recent merges and BSX updates into the new user interface.
Although this final phase of the GUI 2.0 development is taking slightly longer than anticipated, we remain confident that it will be wrapped up shortly.
As always, we thank you immensely for your passion and dedication to Particl and what it's working towards achieving. None of it would be possible without you all!
We wish you a great weekend we'll see you all back on Monday! 👋
