As we conclude the week, it is time to review the progress that has been made in the past few days. Let us take a moment to evaluate the advancements achieved in the past few days.

Marketplace Seller App πŸ›’

Particl Marketplace and DeCommerce β€” What’s Coming in 2023
A comprehensive analysis of Particl Marketplace’s upcoming Seller Application and a summary of our short-to-medium-term DeCommerce roadmap.

This week, we've published an important blog post detailing the upcoming seller app as well as the next few steps that lies ahead in our journey to transform Particl into a more modular, open ecosystem. This is a highly recommended read for anyone that wants to be aware of what are the current plans and focus related to Particl Marketplace.

At this time, we are at the early stages of building the seller app and have been preparing for its development cycle, collecting feedback and suggestions from some of the vendors currently selling on the marketplace at the same time.

If you have any seller-related feature requests, suggestions, or ideas, we'd love to hear about them. The app provides a quick way to deploy and experiment with different seller-related features, so the more input we receive on that end, the more we can work with!

BasicSwap πŸ“ˆ

This week, we have implemented a couple of updates to the BasicSwap DEX back-end and have been making steady progress on the development of the market making script.

DEX Codebase βš™οΈ

Included below is the changelog for BasicSwap DEX's most recent update (0.0.59) that we've pushed this week.

  • Added total_bids_value_multiplier option to automation strategies.
    • System won't automatically accept a bid for an offer if the sum of the values of all completed and in-progress bids and the candidate bid exceeds total_bids_value_multiplier times the offer value.
    • Default is 1.0.
  • UI: The RPC page can send commands over HTTP.
    • Must manually specify the argument types bsij for (bool, string, int, json).
  • Removed error message for unprocessed revoke messages.
    • Some nodes won't have all messages.
  • Started test framework for scripts.
  • API: Can now abandon bids.
  • If wallets are encrypted the system will only load in-progress bids when unlocked rather than at startup.
  • Can set overrides for automation strategies per identity.
  • UI: Bids on expired offers won't show as available anymore.
  • API: getcoinseed shows seed's ID.
  • UI: Can now edit automation strategy data.
  • UI: Fix pagination clearing filters
  • Added restrict_unknown_seed_wallets option.
    • Set to false to disable unknown seed warnings.
  • UI: Can now edit offer automation strategy.

This updates integrates a couple of back-end functionality, general improvements, and forward-compatibility with the upcoming market making script as well as other types of automation strategies.

We'd like to thank, once again, our beta testers for helping us identifying issues, bugs, and areas of improvements. Your help and feedback is incredibly valuable and helps the project move faster!

User Interface πŸ–₯️

As previously reported, we are in the process of resolving a few minor, remaining issues/bugs, as well as incorporating the updates mentioned in the section above into the new user interface.

Although this final phase of the GUI 2.0 development is taking slightly longer than anticipated, we remain confident that it will be wrapped up shortly.
