Particl Desktop 💻️
We're still completing the items outlined in our previous updates, namely including enhancing Tor server capabilities and making a variety of minor improvements.
Please note, that we are observing a delay that is impacting the development process of Particl Desktop which we are working on resolving.
Particl Core 🔗
Core Codebase Maintenance 🛠️

BasicSwap 📈
We've continued working on improving the BasicSwap codebase with the invaluable help of our beloved open-source contributors. Here's a list of what we worked on this week:
- Disable secp256k1 subtree check.
- Fix SMSG 'TTL out of range' not showing in log and sError.
- Ensure offers created by createoffers.py (automated market making script) can be revoked.
- Add warning when wallet setup fails (PIVX) via the prepare fonction.
- Improve certain swap status messages to make them appear less scary and better reflect current statuses. For example, "Monero lock transaction confirmations x/10".
- Add option to enable staking within BasicSwap for PoS chains.
- Remove unsupported prune option from PIVX config.
- Make the default target location for
COINDATA_PATHenabled by default. Advanced users now need to editdocker/.envto use a custom location. - Fix coin minimums.
- Add option for the expire db records settings to only remove expired bids/offers, not completed ones.
- Add estimate XMR fee.
- add a "sweep all" option to the XMR wallet.
- Automatically remove
untrusted-daemon=1from the wallet config. - Fix errors shown by the GUI Gui when creating new UTXOs.
- Fix LTC -> MWEB pending display.
User Interface (GUI 2.1) 🖥️
We've encountered some issues while testing the new version of the GUI this week, which has now been resolved. We're now getting the commits in line to move the build to the dev Github branch in the coming days.
