Last weekend, we announced that BasicSwap DEX was proudly joining the Private Finance Syndicate, strengthening our bonds with our friends at Navcoin and LunarDAO.

The PFS, centered on fostering collaboration to advance the development, promotion, and adoption of privacy technologies and ensures a free exchange of knowledge and insights among its members, aligns perfectly with the BasicSwap DEX and Particl mission.

We are very excited for all the things to come out of that partnership and invite you to read our announcement blog post for more information on the PFS and its syndicate members!

Particl Desktop 💻️

We're still completing the items outlined in our previous updates, namely including enhancing Tor server capabilities and making a variety of minor improvements.

Please note, however, that we are currently observing a delay that is impacting the the development process of Particl Desktop which we hope to resolve shortly.

BasicSwap 📈

Adding New Coins 🪙

This week, we've continued our efforts towards incorporating new coins into BasicSwap and enhancing certain DEX components to ensure broader asset compatibility.

This week, we've begun testing the integration of a new (privacy) coin on mainnet but have faced a few challenges, which have now been resolved. Testing will continue into next week, after which we'll be able to, in collaboration with that coin's team, its release on BasicSwap DEX.

User Interface 🖥️

We're continuing our work integrating minor improvements to the user interface. As mentioned last week, the New Offer page is completed and we will begin testing it extensively, along with the variety of other improvements and changes made to the user interface, in the coming days.

Installer/Launcher 🧙

Following a brief diversion to address other priorities, we anticipate resuming our efforts on resolving some issues with the BasicSwap installation wizard shortly. Once refined, we will transform it into an .exe application (for Windows users) and announce its release.

New Particl Website ✅

We've also been making steady progress on the new website, as has been the case for the past couple of weeks, which we now expect to have a working version in internal testing soon. Live launch should follow shortly after that!
