The week is coming to an end, which means it's time for our weekly development progress report! So let's quickly see what progress has been made in the past few days.
Particl Desktop
As announced last week, we are in the process of wrapping up the process of separating Particl Core from Particl Desktop and, at the same time, adding more user configuration options to the desktop client.
Once completed, a certain amount of work will still be required to get it ready for release, including testing and tweaking the GUI to ensure a comfortable user experience.

Core Codebase Maintenance 🛠️
tecnovertAs usual, we've been keeping up with upstream updates as part of our ever-ongoing effort to maintain Particl Core up-to-date with Bitcoin's latest version. You can always keep track of those changes by following this link.
BasicSwap 📈
We've made great progress this week on the user interface of the BasicSwap DEX, so much that we're hoping to finish it and initiate the final closed beta testing round next week.
As it stands currently, the only things left to complete are small GUI adjustments — the entirety of the heavy lifting now being well behind us!
Web Marketplace Checkout Demo
Our friends at ParticlMarketplace.shop (currently under maintenance) published yesterday a demo of an upcoming option for their web marketplace browser: the ability to buy stuff from Particl Marketplace and check out online using their website.
We're excited to see more community contributions coming to light, a small glimpse of what will be once Particl becomes fully modular and supported by a proper, powerful developer SDK.
