As the week ends, let's take a moment to look back at what we've achieved in the past few days and see what we've got to look forward to in the week to come.

BasicSwap 📈

While we're still evaluating what larger deliverables we'll be tackling for the next development cycle of BasicSwap, we've pushed a variety of bug fixes and improvements to the codebase, some of which have already been pushed to master. They are as follows:

  • Wallets page clean-up (1)
  • Fixed inaccurate fee rate and hid 'sweep all' checkbox for XMR (1)
  • More responsive wallets (1)
  • Align filters in offers page (1)
  • Reworded 'min. bid' to 'min. purchase' for clearer UX (1)
  • Fixed Litecoin's MWEB wallet generation (1)
  • Fixed UI scrolling lag (1)
  • Tweaks to tooltips and general fixes and clean-up (1)
  • Fixed wallet reseed regression (1)

Additionally, a few additional fixes and improvements are still in the dev branch and should be merged shortly:

  • Make earliest fork height a transient error for XMR (1)
  • Fixed createoffers script and changed identities API (1)
  • Adjusted the test_xmr_persistent test to work with BTC v28 (1)
  • Added a check that verifies that a bid will be able to go through accounting for fees required in 2nd step of a swap (in-progress) (1)
  • Updated Bitcoin's fastsync file (1)

Bids Display ✅

New Bids Display (WIP)

One of the notable UI-related items we've worked on this week is with how bids are displayed to the user. This rework improves the user experience and makes the interface more intuitive when it comes to managing bids.
