Particl Marketplace Update π
We're making some changes to Particl Marketplace in preparation for a better, more proactive, yet equally decentralized content moderation system powered by a decentralized LLM system.
This innovative approach stands at the intersection of blockchain and emerging LLM technology, and while it requires additional R&D before finalization, it shows great promise. We're confident this new system will significantly improve the current moderation process, improving both its effectiveness but also the general user experience.
Before the new moderation system is fully implemented, you can expect a Particl Desktop update featuring the necessary preparatory changes to drop. We'll keep you informed on the progress and provide more detailed information in a dedicated blog post once the system is nearly ready.

New Mandatory Firo Update π¨
A few days ago, Firo pushed a new mandatory update that introduces changes to the transaction relay size limit to ensure proper handling and relaying of these transactions.
This release increases the maximum transaction relay size, adds new RPCs for Spark light wallet support, includes various optimizations to Spark and adding simplified sending to EX-addresses in the UI.
If you've enable Firo on BasicSwap, you must update your core wallet as soon as possible. Follow the instructions here to learn how to do it, or if you've installed BasicSwap using Ofrnxmr's bash scripts, you can simply run the upgrade script here.
Large Codebase Update is Live β
We've pushed a rather larger update to BasicSwap DEX's master branch this week, which includes 7,246 new lines of code added and 2,502 ones that have been removed. This excludes any work involved with adding or removing dependencies, which would bring this update to 32,695 lines added and 2,502 deletions should these be included in the calculation.
This significant update, which is the result of a couple of weeks of hard work from various contributors, significantly improves the codebase on a multitude of fronts at the same time.

Decred Integration π
The aforementioned update also introduces Decred on the master branch. That means you can now swap Decred with all available cryptocurrencies on BasicSwap, which coincidently marks the completion of its integration within the DEX.
We'd like to extend our thanks to the Decred community for supporting BasicSwap developers with the integration. π
Note: We will publish, next week on the Particl News blog, a detailed article that officially announces the completion of the integration as well as in-depth information about it.
Wownero Integration π ποΈ
This update also introduces Wownero on the master branch. Similarly to Monero, Wownero cannot be swapped using regular HTLC (Secret Hash) based swaps, but can be swapped using adaptor signature swaps.
Just like Decred, this update marks the completion of the Wownero integration into BasicSwap. As such, we'd like to extend our thanks to Ofrnxmr for completing the vast majority of the work that has gone into making this possible! π
Note: We will publish, next week on the Particl News blog, a detailed article that officially announces the completion of the integration as well as in-depth information about it.
Particl and BasicSwap Media πΊ
One of BasicSwap's presentation at this year's edition of Monerokon has been published by the organizers of the conference on their Youtube channel.
So if you've missed the talk as it was streamed live, or if you want to watch it once more, you can now do so by following the link above or using the embedded media player below.
As always, we thank you immensely for your passion and dedication to Particl and what it's working towards achieving. None of it would be possible without you all!
We wish you a great weekend we'll see you all back on Monday! π
